Flexor Carpi Ulnaris

Flexor Carpi Ulnaris 
  • Origin : Humeral head: medial epicondyle of humerus; Ulnar head: olecranon and posterior border of ulna
  • Insertion : Pisiform, hook of hamate, base of 5th metacarpal via pisohamate and pisometacarpal ligaments
  • Action: Flexes the hand at the wrist (thus the name)
  • InnervationUlnar nerve (C7 and C8) (C7, C8)
