Rhomboideus Major is the tearing or overstretching of muscle fibers of the rhomboid muscles, which are in the upper back.

Origin : Spinous processes of the thoracic vertebrae 2 through 5.
Insertion : Medial border of scapula from level of spine to inferior angle
